Encouraged by over ₹ 1.11 lakh crore worth of business deals conducted through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, the Centre has prohibited all its arms from making excuses such as “urgency”, “non-availability of internet” or “non-functioning of GeM” to procure goods and services of common use from outside its e-commerce portal. “On the request of GeM, it has now been decided that buyers will be required to generate GeMAR&PTS ID in all cases of procurement outside GeM,” a finance ministry circular issued to all central ministries, departments and public sector enterprises said. 3 Bihar Policemen Arrested For Taking Bribe From Hotel Manager in Patna

Class 12 board evaluation: CBSE asks schools to furnish 7 details of students

[ad_1] New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked schools to upload seven key details about their students for its automation software to conduct assessment tabulation. In a fresh circular, CBSE has said that schools need to upload internal grades of each of the students along with practical/projects/internal assessment marks. Schools also need to upload Cass 10 roll number, name of school board and year of passing to verification, and furnish “availability of historical performance of schools to be taken as reference for moderation." Besides, Class 11 theory marks datasheet and Class 12 theory marks datasheet need to be uploaded in a dedicated portal developed by the CBSE.
